I tested this myself with my own batteries and it works quite well for a small transistor radio. There is a volume hi-low-off knob; reset button; scan button; battery door; belt clip and earphone jack. Please note that this radio DOES NOT come with earphones. Earphones ARE NEEDED to listen to this radio. Standard earphones would work. I tested this with a single earphone plug. Comes with directions and a limited warranty insert. The front of the radio has a logo and company information on it which reads "automated graphic systems, inc. 800-678-8760 c www.ags.com." Perfectly portable, this item is new in box, in excellent condition and fully functional.
